Consider these statistics:

More than 80 percent of women who are stalked by a current or
former lover are assaulted by him, and 31 percent of these same
women are sexually assaulted.

About 75 percent of the women murdered each year were previously
stalked by their killers. Stalkers pursue their victims from 18
months to 40 years.

A stalker has tools to track you down if he or she knows your:

* Home address
* Work address
* Telephone number
* Email address

A stalker can also track you down through links to your automobile
or credit bureau files.
