Q) Are there any special computer
equipment requirements?

A) Yes, this eBook will open only on
computers with Windows operating systems
this means that Mac users cannot access
our eBook. We suggest that Mac Users
consider our hardbound edition.


Q) Can I read the eBook on another
computer?

A) You can read your eBook on any computer
you want to. However, let’s say you have
activated the eBook on your home computer,
and now you would like to read it on your
laptop computer. Here's how to do it:

Connect your home computer to the Internet.
- Open the eBook.
- Click Help > About Secure-eBook... on the
top menu bar.
- Write down the activation key you see in
the pop-up window.
- Click the OK button.
- Click Help > Deactivate eBook from the top
menu.
- Click the Deactivate button.

Then connect your laptop to the Internet.
- Open the eBook.
- Click on eBook > Activate eBook... on the
top menu bar.
- Enter the activation key in the pop-up
window.
- Click the Activate button.


Q) Could the speed of my internet
connection affect buying an eBook?

A) We recommend using High-Speed internet
to aid in download time.


Q) Can my firewall interfere with
downloading and activating the eBook?

A) The standard Windows firewall will not
cause problems, but some of the more
aggressive firewalls, particularly those found
in corporate networks, can make it difficult or
impossible to activate or even read the
eBook. Try the following:

Turn off the firewall while you are activating.
Remember that the firewall may be
separate from your computer and only
accessible by your network administrator.
Specifically enable the Secure-eBook
application in your firewall (or ask your
network administrator if your are not allowed
to do it yourself). The eBook requires the
firewall to allow it to access www.secure-
ebook.com on ports 80 and 443.

Another option is to try installing the eBook
on a computer that is connected directly to
the Internet.


Q) What if I can no longer open my
eBook?

A) If you have upgraded or reinstalled your
computer, it is possible that Secure-eBook
does not recognize the computer. If such is
the case, the eBook will open in sample
mode and Secure-eBook will not allow it to
be reactivated.

When that happens, you should contact the
publisher of the eBook to request your
activation key to be reseted. That will allow
you to activate your eBook again.

Purchasing the eBook
If you did not purchase the eBook yet, you can start the purchase
process by clicking here to “Buy Now!”.

After you complete the purchase transaction, you will receive an
activation key. That’s the key you will use to activate the eBook.

Downloading the eBook
1) Download the zipped file.

2) Use a program such as WinZip to unzip the file to your computer
desktop.

3) Double click the unzipped file to open it. Note: You may get a
digital signature security warning. Click OK.

4) When an eBook is opened for the first time, only the sample is
displayed. The eBook will have to be activated using the activation
code in order to access the full content.

Activating the eBook


1) The screen above is what you should see when you open the
book by double clicking your e-book icon.

2) The two red circles on the page indicated where you should click
next to enter your activation code. Those two buttons are:
A) e-book (option 1 located in the top most left hand corner under the blue bar
OR
B) Buy this eBook now!

3) If you use the first option (e-book) when you mouse over eBook a
drop down box will appear and you should click Activate e-book.

OR just hit Buy book now.

4) Copy your activation code (Control + C)

5) Paste your code in the blank (Control + V) Note: right click will not work you must either enter code manually or use Control + V.

6) Your e-book coulb be ready to go in less than 5 minutes!
